BlogHer12 Recap: Stellar Saturday & The Odd Life Of Timothy Green

I dunno about you, but I wasn't readyto jump out of bed as quickly as I did the day before. And my feet were already arguing with me. But I did have more than a few things to look forward - my most anticipated sessions were all happening on Saturday (Advanced SEO, Vlogging Bootcamp Part I & II), plus the Disney Screening of "The Odd Life of Timothy Green", BanShe, the BlogHer Fashion Show, and (my personal favourite) my other half was arriving.

Once I got my butt up and moving I was rewarded. First, in the lobby I received a package that had been left for me - new gorgeous Steve Madden Nude Pumps I had been lusting after from the fabulous ladies at 6pm. Who doesn't love starting the day with new shoes?

Next surprise...Being joined for breakfast by Lara Galloway (MomBizCoach) and Sheleigh Cummins (BizTrainHer). These two lovelies have been a big part of my inspiration and cheerleading section online this last year as I have worked to build my business. I was over the moon excited to sit and chat with these lovely ladies and it gave the energy boost I so desperately needed.

The day went well with a fantastic session on SEO (that gave me things I could start doing right away - hooray!), overflowing Vlogging Boot-Camp sessions sent me back to the expo where I met up with Shannon from Sweet Stellas and her roomie Shannon from Baby Shmizz (according to one sponsor rep my blogher sister). I had a great time traveling through the expo again with these ladies and chatting with the awesome sponsors some more.

Just after lunch time I got the text message I had been waiting for...Ross was in the Super Shuttle and would be arriving to the hotel momentarily. I opted to go meet him for some lunch and get him settled before we attended the Disney Screening. I'm pretty sure I talked his ear off in the first 5 mins at lunch but I was excited to have him with me and share everything I had been doing.

That evening we took the stroll over to the Disney Screening of "The Odd Life Of Timothy Green" All I can say is Wow! I loved the movie. It wasn't what I was expecting and I got a little teary eyed (so did Ross but don't tell him I told you). I will definitely pick this one up and share it with my daughter. After we were all invited to another rooftop lounge to enjoy drinks, snacks, gifts and conversation with the other attendees. It was a great night and I was happy to reconnect with the fabulous Patti ( and we traveled over to BanShe together. It was a great night and a great weekend that I can only barely touch on here.
