Link of the Week: Kelby Training

So this week I’m sharing one of my most visited links in the last year...Kelby Training. This website is amazing! There are so many different photographers, topics, and styles that I think any photographer of any level would be hard pressed not to find some great learning opportunities here. During the 6 months I have been a member I have watched over 20 videos ranging from avoiding business pitfalls to studio light, on location shooting, lighting, wedding day shoots to using layers in photoshop. The possibilities are endless! New workshops become available on a regular basis to keep things fresh and they have just released an iphone/ipad app to allow you to watch from those devices (computers and phones running flash can watch straight from the website but the lack of flash on the ipad caused issues). I love these seminars! They are easy to watch and listen, give you new perspective and give you tools you can put to use the moment you are done watching! Heck, some of them even give you downloads of tools, examples, etc. How much easier can it get? Kelby training also offers Kelby training live which is the great gurus of Kelby training hitting the road to conduct workshops and seminars live in many cities. Scott Kelby’s “Light It, Shoot It, Retouch It” tour is even making a few stops in Canada in the coming months (I will be front and centre on July 6th when Scott hits Toronto)

It doesn’t stop there...there’s even a store to pick up books and DVD’s. Many of the DVD’s are the same seminars you can watch online but now you have your own personal copy! The books include a variety of photography and retouching topics from various authors.

It’s a one stop shop for photographers resources and professional development!
