Anyone who knows me, or has met me at a bridal show knows, I love Bridal Shows and the London Bridal Expo is the one I attend most frequently.
Why? I love people. I love weddings. I love what I do.
And my entire weekend at bridal shows is meeting people talking about weddings, and learning about how they dream of having their day photographed.
I get so pumped! I'm pulling up ideas on pinterest for that bride who's stuck on how to incorporate some element or theme into part of their day. I'm dancing in the aisle between couples. I'm chatting with all the great vendors and sharing inspiration.
Yesterday was amazing! So many fantastic brides, couples, families, and entourages stopped by. I just loved hearing about it all from the small casual weddings on a family farm to the bling crusted extravaganza in a ballroom. Each wedding has it's own signature style and I love hearing about all the dreams!
This was also the first time I had the pleasure of sharing my own experiences so far in the planning process to those who expressed that had 'done nothing' ("not true" I told them, "you have a ring, a fiance, and an excitement! The rest are just details.") and those feeling overwhelmed with the planning process. It was interesting to hear from these brides how much it meant to them to be talking to someone else who's there right now.
If you haven't already stopped in, make sure to swing by the London Bridal Expo today from 11am-5pm at the Canada Building, Western Fairgrounds and say hello! The expo is full of local vendors ready to inspire you, help you plan, and celebrate with you!
Can't wait to hear all about your wedding day!
