Ah, the all important resolutions and goal setting. Admittedly I am someone who sets goals but doesn’t follow through in my personal goals. This year I’m working on making all of my goals for next year SMART goals. If you haven’t heard this classic acronym before let me review quickly...SMART goals are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time sensitive (has a deadline). When I follow through on all of these aspects I tend to be more successful in achieving my goals. I’d like to take a moment to share a few of my goals for the new year both personal and profession...take a moment to read them and share some of your goals for 2012 below...I’d love to hear from you! Personal
• To increase our families intake of fruits and vegetables to a minimum of 5 servings per day by replacing sweets with fruits and veggies by March 2012.
• To create a better balance between my business and family life through schedule my days / hours of work and also scheduling specific activities such as camping, hiking, biking, snowshoeing and more with my family where I’m away from my business and focussed on family.
• To participate in at least 3 business or photography related courses or conferences within 2012 to allow me to continue my professional development and allow me to grow my business in a way that is positive for both the business and the customer.
• To build my consistency in blogging and social media I will be scheduling 15mins 4times a day as minimum time periods for checking the social media feeds and 30mins per day to work on blog posts starting in February of 2012
