PRESS RELEASE: Local Photographer Changing the Way Women Look At Themselves Through Portraits

Tuesday January 17th 2017

Local Photography Rebecca Nash is changing the way women look and feel about themselves through a transformative new series of Contemporary Elegance Portraits by Rebecca Nash Photography.

Together with a professional makeup artist and hair stylist, Nash is creating an experience based on helping women look and feel their very best and creating images that help them taking that feeling home.

‘So many women today are so busy in their everyday life, striving to do more or do it better, that they dismiss their own accomplishments’ Nash says “What if for one day you stopped, you let someone pamper you a little with a makeover, you stepped in front of the camera feeling your most fabulous, and let someone else show you the strength and beauty you possess?”

The inspiration really came from the struggles Nash has experienced in her own life. She sites the lack of self confidence, the poor body issue, the fight to keep all the balls in the air and forgetting to take care of herself as the driving force that brought her here.

“In my eyes, I was a failure. I couldn’t check everything off my to do list everyday. I didn’t have that cover model physique and magazine worthy home. I couldn’t make my daughter’s worries and struggles disappear. What good was I?” Nash says “Thanks to a few friends and family members I began to recognize that those things didn’t define me. There was more to the story.”

This year Nash is challenging Women everywhere to make some big changes. Instead of making a promise to loose some weight, to eat healthier, or whatever your New Year’s resolution may be, let’s make it our goal to love ourselves, to be kind to ourselves.

Need some help along the way? Nash’s new contemporary elegance portrait experience might be the perfect thing to help you feel your best. The sessions officially launch Feb 17th 2017 but she’s holding a couple spots available before then to remind you of your beauty and strength. “I want to remind woman, and give them tangible proof, of the superwoman they are everyday.” Nash says.
