Happy Friday! This week instead of featuring one specific product that I’m loving I wanted to showcase another local mompreneur I’ve recently met and had the opportunity to collaborate with.
I’d like to introduce you to Shannon, owner and artist at Sweet Stella’s (with a new yummy business in the works). A classically trained artist (Fine Arts at Wilfred Laurier), Shannon began creating again after the birth of her son as a creative outlet. It didn’t take long for her to fall in love with paper and all the amazing things she could create. Sweet Stella’s became a project she could pour her heart into, and continues to be til this day.

Sweet Stella’s now offers a variety of items including masks, piggy banks, handmade journals, and a variety of beautiful paper craft items too. Whether you’re looking for goody bags and decor for a party, beautiful notepads, handcrafted journals, or a painting for your home Sweet Stella’s has you covered. Gorgeous, detailed, and creative products come out of her workshop everyday.
Sweet Stella's also has the distinction of being a member of The Artisan Group; a group of artists and entrepreneurs who all creating handmade products and as a group participate in many celebrity gifting opportunities. Last year Sweet Stella's was one of the Featured artists in the Emmys gifting suite and swag bags with celebs including Annie Ilonzeh from ABC's hot new series Charlie's Angels, and Jeff Probst best known as the host of Survivor stoping by to check out her products!
I had the pleasure of meeting Shannon at a Mompreneur coffee date here in London where Shannon surprised me with a goody bag of fabulous Sweet Stella products. We were the first two there and connected both online and in real life. Since then Shannon and I have had the opportunity to connect online and over coffee (with her adorable son too...so cute!) and hit it off.
I was thrilled when an opportunity arose for me to work with Sweet Stella’s on a creative project. Next month my spouse and I will be attending the Valentines Masquerade at the Elsie Perrin Williams Estate. For a formal event I need an appropriate mask to wear and I thought immediately of Shannon! When I contacted Shannon she was enthusiastic and totally open to my ideas of what I was hoping for. I can’t wait to see the masks – I know they will be fabulous! Watch for photos coming soon!
Now enough sitting here reading about her hop over and check out Sweet Stella’s for yourself!
