Style Me Monday: Spring Skirts

Spring has sprung and it's finally starting to feel like it! This last weekend got me thinking about pulling out the skirts to celebrate the rising temperatures!
This week I pulled together a few of my favorite styles.
When I cracked open the closet and peered inside...
Where were my cute skirts? Where was the fun and polish?
Oh this time last year I was ill, and 15lbs heavier.
I used that as an excuse not to buy or wear anything that attracted attention or showed my body.
Now it's time for a change...
Am I at my goal weight? No!
Is that going to stop me from being fabulous? No!
Today I've rounded up 4 of the top styles on my wishlist this year
1.) Classic ALine Skirt in Black, Navy, or Charcoal
2.) A Colourful, Textured, or Printed Pencil Skirt
3.) A Skirt with Youthful flare like this sequin number
4.) A Classic Pencil Skirt with a twist - Bandage Layers, Unique accents
This are now on my shopping list. (I'm keeping my eye's out for a number of items for my wardrobe this spring...)
What's your favourite spring skirt style?

Style Me Monday: LadyLike Lace

Since the wedding of Kate and William, the Duchess & Duke of Cambridge lace (and lace inspired designs) has been springing up in every garment from dresses, to tops, pants, handbags, purses and more! Today I'm showcasing a few of my favorite ways to incorporate the ladylike elegance of lace into your style in a young, fun way...(because lets face it, lace with pearls and diamonds can get a little matronly if done wrong)
Dip your toes into lace with a lace covered peep toe pump....
Add a lace inspired printed peplum top to your favorite pencil skirts...
A lacy topped body hugging dress hits a great note for night with a flirty elegance....
A strapless number with all over lace in a rich tone get set off with an update to the classic gold, diamonds, and pearls....
Which of these just screams modern elegance to you?
